SoCal songstress Bago's ethereal R&B falls somewhere between a syrupy Erykah Badu and a cavernous Amy Winehouse; and it helps when she's backed up by the sludgey, psychedelic beats of fellow west coast native rapper Alexander Spit. It was on Spit's album "A Breathtaking Trip to That Otherside" where I first heard Bago's echoey vocals but I didn't find out about her mixtape "Sunday's Best" until recently. These 10 tracks of new (NOT nu) LA downtempo soul are up for free download on her Soundcloud page.
