Saint Vitus Tour the West Coast in June

Legendary Doom Metal band Saint Vitus have a couple of tour dates in and around the West Coast this coming June. This band features another legend, Scott "Wino" Weinrich whose solo debut made my Top 10 Albums of 2009 post. Anything that Wino touches should be treated as Doom Metal gold so if you're anywhere in the area for these dates I suggest you take advantage.

Scott Weinrich's voice really shines in this band (probably since he doesn't play guitar and so gives the singing his full attention) and I really wished I was visiting San Diego during their tour. Maybe one day we'll be lucky enough to get a Saint Vitus/The Obsessed/Spirit Caravan/The Hidden Hand/Wino/Shrinebuilder US tour. I believe my neck cracked just thinking about slowly headbanging to that lineup. I wish that was possible, man if wishes were rent checks...
