Acid Mothers Temple - Live at Ole Beck VFW [Free]

Acid Mothers Temple is one of the greatest psychedelic bands existing today, in this cosmos or any other.  The Japanese collective is led by guitarist Kawabata Makoto and has featured many members each of which has inspired their own offshoot nomenclatures including Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O., Acid Mothers Temple & the Cosmic Inferno, Acid Mothers Temple & the Pink Ladies Blues and Acid Mothers Guru Guru which features Mani Neumeier the drummer of Guru Guru.  Their sound is as diverse as their lineups and few acts of any genre can match the musicianship and fervor of their live show.  My love of this band is great and I have been awed by many of their live shows but there's nothing I can write that can match the praise that has been bestowed on them by legendary singer-songwriter and founder of Throbbing Gristle; Genesis P-Orridge.  The artist has named Acid Mother's live show his/her greatest musical moment of 2013:

"We’d been disappointed by live music for a few years, so it was a shock to see Acid Mothers Temple live two times in New York this spring and witness them redefining psychedelic music. Like a group of crazed wizards, they spiritually entrance you."

-Genesis P-Orridge's Best of 2013
