Here comes more goodies from this year's San Diego Comic Con! Thomas Jane (and pretty much everyone else in the entire world) has always been dissapointed in the 2004 Punisher movie, and was even more dissapointed that he was not picked to reprise his role in the Punisher: War Zone reboot. So as a treat to the fans he has created a new film short as a sort of "love letter" to the character. The short debuted at this weekend's Con and co-stars Ron Perlman. The film is rated 'R' and looks great despite having CGI blood (did I mention how much I hate CGI blood?) Here's what Jane had to say about the fan film:
"I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish -- we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it."
