Code of Conduct X Obey Giant: Art Chicago Installation

Renown street artist Shepard Fairey (aka OBEY) creator of the HOPE poster for Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, will be showing some of his work at Art Chicago this weekend 4/29-5/2 and creating a special installation for it. Since he was in town he managed to hook up a mural for Chicago Tattoo shop Code of Conduct last night. Idol Threat was lucky enough to be on hand to witness the process, which was kept under wraps by the Code crew until today. Peep the video from last night (which features FloydthefourtH of C4 on the beat) and click the jump to see pics of the OBEY crew putting up the mural. Head on over to State & 11th if you want to check out the piece first hand and make sure to stop by Art Chicago this weekend at the Merchandise Mart. Big ups to Code for celebrating their 1 year anniversary as well!

  2. This truly is awful "music". However, we should always try to find a positive or learn a lesson and here is what I take away. Parents: Please do not praise your kids for every silly thing they do and tell them how unique and creative they are when, they are in fact, not. Push, encourage to do better, teach, instruct, etc and when it's time, be realistic. This is an album made by people who's parents should have encouraged them to get real jobs.
