Guru Surgery Update: Solar Speaks, Twitter Quotes

Everyone is on the edge of their seat trying to find any news about Guru's health. While searching for updates I found a statement made by Guru's current musical partner Solar on AllHipHop.com:

"Guru is struggling with a serious health issue. We, the whole 7 Grand Records family, appreciate all your love and well wishes. We continue to hold out hope that Guru will make a full recovery from this. We ask that his privacy on this matter will be respected. Again, thank you for all your support through this trying time."

The trending new topic on Twitter right now seems to be #RIPGuru and rumors of his death are spreading like wildfire. I could not find any confirmation on his death, but I did find this quote via Qtip's Twitter Page around 10pm NY time:

"Spoke to preemo. He's in surgery still keep praying. He's still here."

I'm actually pretty upset that people would spread these false rumors of his death. This is just further proof that Twitter has been both a blessing and curse, as is the case with most new technology. I really have nothing else to say, I thought I'd just leave you guys with an update and hope for the best. I will keep posting any new information I find.
